Dear Devs, first thank you for fixing major naval bug #3 which was the AI not training its ships which caused them to get slaughtered easily in combat.
There are still (I think) two other major naval bugs though. You could maybe say three.
One, the AI fleets like the Soviets for example get stuck in port. Because they are trying to merge with other fleets through straits. This basically cripples the Soviet fleet as far as I can tell.
Two, the Montreux Convention event which is supposed to control ship access to the Black Sea doesn't work and I literally don't think it ever has. If playing on historical mode, the only ships that should be in the Black Sea are Soviet plus the other Black Sea nations' ships. I don't think the Germans should even be able to get Convoy ships in there although I'm not a WW2 historian.
Three, the way naval spotting works for Task Forces doesn't make sense. Because of the way the math is done (it's averaged across the Task Force) one ship with high spotting is literally better at spotting than 10 ships with low-medium spotting. Which obviously makes no logical/real world sense. I'm really surprised this hasn't been fixed yet.
