So, I am assuming then that these will be usable by all nations, correct? Like a generic "Increased Manpower through consrcription" law or some other sort of wording? Which I guess then means they, on a whole, won't be nation-specific... :confused:

Or perhaps event-fired laws? Like a major boost to manpower once the USA is DOW by someone else.

I am guessing there will not be too many nation-specific things like this, but rather just a few. Of course, this game is still being worked on so who knows.

But talk about a MODder's dream!

Would these laws be moddable perhaps?

Most likely. They've stated that HoI 3 will be extremely moddable, and I don't think modding the laws and adding them will be pretty hard.

It'll probably involve changing some lines to alter the laws, and adding new ones won't be that tough, you can always copy existant laws and change what needs changing :)

I assume that certain laws would be unavailable to your ideology, such as 'state press' for the more liberal nations... Or these can be implemented if you desire some dissent and loss of party favor and perhaps national unity, if you try to head toward a more closed society. Also perhaps some would not be allowed until a certain tech is researched, like the 'industry' laws. (or vice versa) Also there will certainly be restrictions for some laws like 'full mobilization.'

These laws will probably work just like the country decisions in EUII, or maybe more like the laws in Rome (where you needed political support from the Senate to implement them). They are very similar to events in structure, and completely moddable.

In EUIII, there was also province decisions, which I hope will stay in HoI3...

Unlikely.

Out of all the features of EUIII, this was one that I liked the least and I won't mind if it stays out of HoI 3. If it was regional decisions, I'd like to know what they are. The problem I saw was that they weren't important enough and when they were I wanted to do it everywhere anyways (making it a national decision).

I'd much rather see an expanded mission section to allow even minors to accomplish feats and to create incentives to do some things that others may not care about. For example, Italy's war in Ethopia wasn't about resources it was about national pride and missions can best model this kind of thing.

Regional Decisions maybe?

Well, I may be wrong of course, but I doubt even regional decisions will be likely. There will be national ones, of course, and these new laws (some or all of which may be decisions - I have no idea) and what have you.

Out of curiousity, what would people want as regional/provencial decisions? I can't think of any except for things fortifications like maginot or industry, which can just be made by building forts.

Province decisions for annexation purposes is a big possibility.

why would that be when there were no such decisions in vanilla EU3 IN Nomine?

EDIT Just remembered where there is something like that, regardless i doubt it will be in HOI3 1. Doesn't make sense if used the same way as EU3 (colonial takeover). 2. If it is used for regular provinces what would stop you from using it on all captured provinces? 3. If it was restricted to national provinces what would be the point of it when it could be part of the game mechanics so you automatically annex captured national provinces
