It’s weird to me that the two guys on NGNG have played less of the BattleTech advanced preview build than Cohh, a dude who knows nothing about BattleTech.

I hope its the Bombadil. He was a fair bit further along, and a fair bit more interesting (except when he tuned out to write emails or whatever)

Me too. Not because one is better than the other...but I can relate to Daeron more, I more closely match his slower-and-methodical paced style...

Cohh seems to have gotten very excited about Battltech. For several days, he was making room for Battletech in his schedule because he wanted to play it more.

Since I'm going to be like Cohh for a few days post release, I definitely think that the NGNG guys are the weird ones here.

Cohh definitely has his charm. Picking him to pimp this title was a great move!! Sometimes the Battletech Grognards can be intimidating to newer players, or seem not as approachable. I think the two extremes do a great job covering a wider buying audience. I wish Baradul was more popular (or at least enough to get a pre-release copy).....I completely enjoy his BattleTech knowledge, his battlefield prowess as well as his patience to explain what and why he is doing what he is doing.

Watching Cohh get so invested in this game and force additional gameplay into his schedule is what I want to see from this game. We know the Battletech veterans are going to play but, they're looking at this as familiar ground. They've been in this universe before, some for decades. I love watching Cohh learn about this universe and pimp it so vehemently to the other non-Battletech initiated.

Go forth my child and spread the good word that is Battletech. Let all who doubt see its goodness and be pleased.

Both Daeron and Phil work for PGI so that is their first responsibility. On top of that, Phil just moved in to a new house this past weekend and has a full plate outside of streaming. I am sure they would both like to have the kind of time that Cohh has so they could just focus on playing/streaming BattleTech.
