for some reason they are not my heir for some weird reason
One of the twins has seniority and will always appear first in the family scroll and such. The twins get a relations boost with each other which is very nice from a dynastic secession standpoint.
Plus, if their parents ever get divorced they can secretly swap places and reunite them through a series of increasingly mischievous schemes. At least, I assume thats what all twins do.

Why in heaven would I divorce a woman who is not only fruitful but produces two heirs at once?

Depending on which 'betrothal' can marry icoon you pick sometimes the default is matrilineal so you need to be careful or you won't have any hiers for poor Boleslaw...
has anybody else noticed twins to happen a little too often? I swear I've had at least 5 pairs of twins since I've started playing the demo...(not on the same character of course)
My wife once had twins two times in a row. 4 children for the price of two. Succession was secure.
Second game as Poland (right before it CTD'd for some reason), I get a notification saying that my lovely wife had finally given me an heir, named Boris or something. I figured that Kazimierz was a good name for my heir, since it's a Piast family name, so I rename him Kazimierz and hit OK. The dialog is still there, so I think "hmm, maybe Paradox makes you click twice to confirm name changes?" So I click, because I am happy with my choice of name, and think nothing of it. A couple months later, Boleslaw the Bold becomes the late Boleslaw the Bold and I finally go and look at his character screen. Turns out I had sired twins, one of whom had just had a crown placed on his wrinkly newborn head, and both of whom were named Kazimierz. I think that's why the game crashed.
this reminds me of a movie i saw ages ago, anyone by any chance knows it's name?
That shouldn't cause it to crash, since the children will have different reference numbers in the database. It would cause fun and hilarity for the family though.
