is this scenario gonna lag like hell, similar to the vanilla '44? cuz the vanilla one is CRAZY slow. one day takes about anywhere from 25-30 seconds. and if u hav the patience to play till '47 or '48, itll create that effect wher eit freezes 1-3 seconds between days.

Strange. Never experienced that. Probably you've got a bit to little RAM on your hands.

well wen i first start one day in June 1944 takes about 13-17 seconds. my comp is a little old, with 1.75 GB RAM. is that not enought?
and how long does one day take for u, on "extremely fast", in the beginning of 1944 scenario?

wat do u mean by hardware? and i would kill for that kind of speed. for me, it actually starts lagging slightly in 1939.

LOL! I searched on google about your PC and there are versions with Graphics Card or Onboard Graphics so i can´t tell you what kind of graphics you have...

and 2048MB (or 2Gb) are my RAM

yes that helps!

you have Onboard graphic, but i don´t think it slows down the game because everything except of the sprites are in 2D...

But why does your onboard graphics use 256MB of your Ram? that´s useless, you should set it to 32MB or 64MB in the bios, or buy a graphics card...

btw: how many Programms have you running backround while playing HoI2? If it´s more than 30 or 35, that will be the reason of the slowdown...

according to task manager, no programs r runnin. i even checked the "services" tab. i checked, and no services r running but the essentials like windows explorer, hoi2.exe, etc.
