Guys,

Are we going to have an option to get rid of that HUGE BLUE Tweeter bird on the top the screen. I know it displays notifications but can we hide it when there is no new notification?

Its annoyingly blocking the view.

Cheers

There will not be an option to turn it off I'm afraid.

Just like Clippy in Word, it will take years to remove. Chirper is fortunately cute.

There will not be an option to turn it off I'm afraid.

How about we make it small (like tiny) and when new "Tweet" is available it grows big to display the tweet and than go back to the tiny size.

OR

How about as suggested above in this thread, put it on the left or right hand side instead of center.

OR

How about a "SHOTGUN" option ?

Gee wiz, I seriously can't believe people complain about it.

It's not that big, it's not that intrusive, it certainly is not distractive, and if you really need to see what's behind it, just move a little.

I'm pretty sure that that bird is part of the branding of the game: When one sees it, it will instantly remind you of the game. It will become something like the game mascot. I can just see all the marketing possibilities once you have that bird ingrained in everybody's minds (I completely suck at marketing, and even I can see it!) Asking them to remove it, is a bit like asking Pepsi to remove their logo from the can. I seriously don't see it happening, and frankly, I don't blame them.

At least it's a mascot that doesn't make you want to gouch your eyes out. It could've been something horrible like the meerkat of Vodacom:

wow, now i know why you suck in marketting and by the way where did you get the idea of that bird being an advertisement symbol? None of the trailer shows that bird and it has not been displayed in any add (not so far) .

Removing logo really? that bird is no way a logo nor a part of advertisement campaign.
