So I started a new campaign after taking a break and have noticed that in Base Defense or Base Attack the turrets are now Cicada mechs.

The following mods are what I use from the official launcher

Ammo Cookoff
Randomer Starting Mechs (Balanced)
Basic Panic
JK Variants
JK Rarity
Less Head Injury
Stores Restored 3025
 
Did a check of system files and now in two missions, one had Cicada for turrets and the other had turrets.
