It is more likely that dh1.04 has changed something which is good for Darkest Hour but not good for mods. It is why I am increasingly seeking to not touch Darkest Hour, and just try to keep the mod absolutely separate, so the Devs change something, it won't affect the mod.

Well I was looking forward pretty eagerly to the 0.2 version of the mod. Unfortunately there are some pretty game breaking problems as of now. Namely that units inflict and suffer virtually no casualties and virtually fly across the map.

Don't know why you changed the combat system from vanilla or some variation upon it but you should probably change it back ASAP.
I just tested combat in Iran-Iraq War scenario but didn't test in a whole game but I will look into it.
What do you mean by flying?

0.2 is adopted for 1.04. That could be the reason for your problems.

You should upgrade to 1.04. Tankist is right.

Ok, it's working OK now, but I think the air forces are 10x Hoi2 level overpowered, or at least in the Iran Iraq war scenario I played were.

I think you could make air power more doctrine/terrain dependent: in the Kosovo war NATO air forces did little to no damage, but in the Gulf War they were devastating, so idk if you can edit terrain to modify air attack but that's be good. You should need good terrain + modern doctrines to do as much damage as you can do now in the scenario I played I think.

Also, I can't seem to declare war. Understandable to stop AI attacking each other, but since this doesn't happen really anyway I think it'd be more fun if you could.

You have to be autocratic or use global manipulation to declare war. You need to say they have weapons of mass destruction or something. :p

Love the mordern world scenario but I will be honest the map looks so bad for me that I find it hard to look at it.
And the inclusion of mini enclaves like the vatican or san marino.

I'm working on map. It should be "easier to view", prov. names will be smaller with legible font and borders not so thick.
