This is my first play through. I am fascist Germany at war versus the allies, including USA. The USA just turned fascist after I boosted the party for many years. Yet they remain at war with me? Can’t I peace them out separately? Why do they remain with the allies as fascists?

Is there something I am not doing right?

The game's diplomacy is pretty limited. Since the US are part of the Allies, there is no way to negotiate a separate peace with them. The only way to achieve peace is to win (or lose) the war.

Hopefully this is something that a future DLC will improve on.

Ok thank you. That is unfortunate. It’s even funny as the American Empire is staging fascist coup in South America and all those new fascist countries are joining the axis, and end up at war against the American Empire.

Indeed hopefully it is fixed in future DLC patch. When a country swap ideology it should have the option to back off from a war.
