"Turn the Tables achievement" doesn't shows up

Hi everyone,

I started a game with norway and i did the things that everyone use to do when you play a colonial nation. After some times, nearly in 1500 i made some colonies in north america (massachusset) and formed the colonial nation, I realeased it and played with it. Some time later i formed USA and continued to play. Nearly in 1690 Norway is removed form scandinavia and I vassalized it, but I didn't get any achievment.

Is that becaus I formed USA? or because Norway is protestant and I'm catholic? (I released the colonial nation before the protastant reformation).

Can someone tall me why I didn't get the achievement?

It's because you formed a new nation.

If you want to get it in a new game, use Portugal and go straight for Bermuda -> 13 Colonies region. Get as much in that region as you can, then place ONE colony *outside* that colonial region (so it doesn't become a part of the colonial nation.) Sell all your provinces except that one + your capital to the colonial nation. Move your capital to the new world province, sell Lisboa to the colony as well. Raise tariffs, release and play as them, and the former Portugal should likely happily accept a diplo-vassalage.
