Would be very handy in many situations. For example, if another country just got their ass handed to them in a war and was forced to break every alliances they had and you have claims on them it would be a prime opportunity to strike. But to do that you need to know the war were over, and the alliances were broken in the first place. Which is why imo the notification for when a nation accept peace in a war should NOT be relegated to a tiny alert on a side panel by default. They should come up as an event panel in the middle of the screen by default, because keeping up with current events should be your job as the leader of a nation, plus half of the time the player in real life weren't really doing anything too exciting except waiting around on speed 4 anyway.
But say you're in the middle of a very important war, and in the current war you can't afford to take your attention off the battlefield even for a second. In this case it's understandable for a player to immediately dismiss a peace deal notification and turn their thoughts on more pressing matters. But if they do this they will no longer have access to the full detail of the peace deal. So the second part of my suggestion is the game should start to keep a list of all the previous peace deals that has been passed in the game (between countries the player have knowledge of obviously) for later perusals. The game doesn't need to keep track of ALL peace deals in the history of the entire game, but just all peace deals in a period of, say, 30 years should be enough.
