I see almost the same colour that's on the screens in steam...what I'm doing wrong?
Normally I buy the portraits packs when they're on sale.
I bought this one at full price on release because I loved it when they first advertised it.
I'm disappointed because the quality of the pack doesn't match that of the pictures.

Can you point me where it's gray?
And I haven't meant that they look exactly like on screens on steam, they're different in shapes first of all

I see the difference between st.scr and what-in-game (steam one have more juicy colour, more bronzed; while in-game they less bright)
Main difference I see in face features
Maybe it's the shades are too dark that can be considered "grayish"
And maybe I've just misformulated

Mine are way, way greyer than that... To the point of looking like dark elves.
Is second Alp Arslan looks like Milli Eğitim's portraits of Alp Arslan to you too?
They are oddly dark, yes. I wouldn't say they look bad as they're certainly better than Russian or Med portraits but the contrast is... strange.

Yep. That's my problem with the DLC.
I bought it cause of the Steam portraits and cause they looked Turkish and well, excuse me, but brown.
In-game they're grey. Grey humans. Thanks Paradox.
I think it's a "bug". Look at the children portraits' beige background. If you compare them with, for example, a western child portrait, you can see how the turkish child background is darker, so i think something is wrong with the color in the portraits, and i hope it can be fixed soon.

The Steam screenshots show the Turkish faces of the pre-release set. But when you buy them everything looks different .. Umm. Seriously? Ripoff much? Atleast fix this.
The facial details are realistic, and clothing and hair. Yes. Good job, however Paradox Interactive did not make this. They did also not make the med, norse or eastern slavic pack. I think most people don't know this
There is no turk on earth that looks that dark, infact the turks look african. Why? They aren't mixed with africans. They're from the steppes. This is a very very incorrect imaging of the turks. I regret buying this ripoff, and I have disabled it. I rather play without it than with it until it's fixed.
Or I will wait until Cultures and Potraits Revamp mod updates

Well, I got a theory about it.
I think they're all grey so they can use the Grey Wall tactic with their horse archers.

Mine are, too. Those both look reasonably human. Mine, in-game, don't (at least not living humans).
Huh, really? Can I get a screenshot because now I'm curious as to what everyone else is seeing.
That's fine. I'm just curious about the comparisons I'm seeing to corpses and dark elves; the ones in my game are kinda grey, but not that grey.
In the dim depths of the 20th century, when I was wondering what the hell our teachers were blabbering on about, the pictures in our books were in black and white - and thus closer to the actual DLC content.
No, its because they're all birthed by a grey wolf.
It could be hyperbole. I mean, for example, I call the Mediterranean portraits ghouls and zombies, not because I mean they are ghouls and zombies, but to make a point.
And you will admit, there is a difference between what was advertised and what was delivered.
