Southern Slavs mostly identify with religion, so wouldn't it make sense to have Bogomilist Slavs as Bosnians?

How much of that is a modern notion, though?

I don't think Paradox wants to add a small Christian heresy into the game though, I wonder how could we represent the Bosnian Church without adding new features etc.

It's already represented with Bosnia's NIs: they have +4 Tolerance of Heretics and +25% Religious Unity as their traditions, neither of which are things to sniff at.

Guys this Thread is about the Turkish culture, not about the Bosnian.

Bogomolist already is in the game, the converter files technically, but it already has features.

Bogomilism is an originally Orthodox Christian heresy with Gnostic elements that completely rejects the ecclesiastical hierarchy and advocates a return to early Christianity. Bogomilists believe that the world was created by an evil demiurge - the Devil.

A heresy of Orthodoxy in CK2, a Gnostic sect that spread through the Bulgarian and Eastern Roman Empires from the 10th century.

Agreed that Turkish culture should be split up. Every major culture has received lots of detail and has been split up except Turkish.

Can't argue with you on that one. There is no reason for Turkish to be one, single culture group, but for Italian to be like 9 different ones.

EDIT: What i mean is that Italian (called latin) consists of nine different individual cultures, while Turkish is a single individual culture.

Italian isn't a bunch of different culture groups...it's Italian.

You know what he means. Italian isn't a monolith, neither is French or Spanish or German or Arabic or Persian - so why is Turkish?

It's also incredibly bizarre that the Levantine group's current setup can be justified by "historicity" or "gameplay" when Ottomans almost never take the Maghreb.

Impressive as it looked on a map, the Ottomans never cared much for the Maghreb, and were happy to let it go its own way once there was no longer any need to counter Spanish power in the Mediterranean.

akkoyunlu was turkish and founders of safavid empire (in game they are in levantine culture group cant form persia)
karakoyunlu was turkish state aswell defeated by akkoyunlu (but in game they are in iranian culture group although they were from same TRİBE with seljuks they cant form rûm)
this culture group matter is really ridicilous just remove azerbaijani and turkish and split them into clans
