Also if you do "Reclaim the Fallen Empire" or "The Damascus Diktat" first, the Focus "The Pan-National Association of Ulemas" gets skipped as soon as you are done with "Expand the Saadabat Pact", which would puppet Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan. But because it bypasses them, you don't get the effect of the Focus.

I hate to leave comments on older posts, but please address these issues Paradox. Playing Turkey atm is not fun due to these bugs. Especially the Discuss Investments decisions not working bug is crippling Turkey's economy. I hope these bugs will be taken care of. Thank you

There's a bug with the Disorganized Armed Forces national spirit. If you try to take the decisions to remove the debuffs and leave the decision Legalize New Aircraft Safety Regulations for last then it will disappear for good when you do all other decisions. Because of this you can't get the manpower bonus that the Turk Silahli Kuvvetleri focus provide once all debuffs are gone. It was a game breaker for me just now.
Edit, in a second game I removed the aircraft debuff first and it made the decision to remove the division speed debuff disappear. Then I took the decison to remove the organization debuff and it made the speed debuff decision reappear. So maybe I was wrong before and it's not as bad I first made it sound like. It's still pretty sketchy.

Also im 99% sure you need 66 or more Chromium for the focus The Clodius Agreement to take effect despite the tool tip saying 65 or more. Minor but it can result with you getting 2 less Mil factories and less infrastructures.

Oh and I'd like to know if the fact that you can't remove Sectarian Woes as Kemalist Turkey is intended. Because right now you can placate all Traditionalist regions and give cores to all kurde provinces and still have the debuff.

I guess the Main Issue was more over like Decisions which got nerfed like where you spend and get atleast 7-10 Mil.Factories now you just get 4 and Clodius Agreement also get hugely nerfed.

Instead of those nerfs you got some more fewer days on Focus Path bot anyway there are still Paths which are taking to long to became effective in the Game both in Singleplayer aswell Multiplayer.

One Main Issue from the start is that thing with Sectarian Woes which you cannot revoke or remove even if you core anything on Turkey, aswell negative modifier on Armed Forces like 25+ Uptime on Training. To be honest those things are really crippling Turkey.

Turkey was before like Argentina in Multiplayer a Great Country because u started with Generic Tech Tree and had atleast 3 Research Slots + your Geolocation was is really favourable, now with BftB it´s just crippled and really Heartbreaking slowed down.

Before we had something without negative Modifiers and a Generic Trech Tree which can make you strong, now we get a huge Focus Path still with huge times to get completed + negative Modifiers.

There is also not really a valuable Navy Focus Path for a Country which has 3 Sides with a Sea.

Turkey change more likely more worse and instead of getting atleast more experienced Players who pick it on MP Sessions we are now getting a flood of Ignorant People probably from Turkey which never understood the Main Idea of the Game, really annoying and hard to argue ruining directly that Country at the Start of a MP Sessions without having a Idea about the Focus Paths.

It´s totally not a Beginner Faction and it be a important Country for the Axis oder Comintern, but nah let´s form the Ottoman Sultanate back and jerk and insult everyone who is defeating you because someone forgot to make some Garrisons.

Alright I'm going to necro this thread as the investment bug is still prevalent in 1.11.11. At least with France. When it works it seems to be extremely delayed - longer than 45 days (tooltip gives instructions that a decision should've been taken 45 days after the decision has been taken, but it seems to be at least 45 days after the decision-timer has run out).

To add to this, the ottoman generals often are unable to gain general traits (infantry expert, hill fighter, ect.) This can been seen in almost all Generals or Field Marshals added from events for other countries as well (Habsurg Poland, Republican Greece, Indian Officers for India, Ect)

Well all this is wrong lol. I mean decisions...
Starting from start.
1. Unlock decisions (National focus) -> select one -> wait 45 days.
2. Country you selected will have event bftb_turkey.126 where will have 2 options:
A. Depends on your opinion will get from 1 to 3 decisions (that country not you). First allways, second above 25 opinion and third above 50. This is option where he agree.
B. This is option where he reject. You shouldn't be able to choose this country again.
3. Now country that you selected have between 1 to 3 decisions -> now he need to pick one -> that cost pp and time -> first 25pp 60 days, second 30pp 90 days and third 50pp 120 days.
#So the shortest time you need to wait is 105 days up to 165. And it cost AI some pp that's why France can take it later because they have low pp overall.
#Going back to first point, after 45 days you can do it again but for effect you still need wait at least 60 days. From time when AI selected decision but it can don't do it, making it longer.
4. There is another problem in point 3... modifiers for AI are crappy.

As you see AI have (I don't want explain how this work) 20 chances to do it. BUT if they have opinion above 75 on you (what mean you as Turkey need to improve relations with them), then they multiply that (20) value by 0 what mean they have 0 chances to do it... WHY? when we have good relations.
Same is for first option with that 75 opinion, but there is also multiply by 30 if relations are BELOW 50, so AI have higher chance to it if you have bad relations... :mad:
Note that second option is better.
Third option count that country avitable civ factories (idk why).
I hope you understand what I wrote here. And at the end in my opinion, modifiers in country that we selected are wrong and they need be fixed.

Current Turkey bugs/problems I compiled: @Arheo @Archangel85

1. Investments (as explained in this thread) (should be reworked cause nearly useless now)
2. Turkish railway network should be little bit more polished (including one historical focus to be updated)
3. Ottoman cores and tooltips are messy/buggy
4. 2 generals (Kazım Karabekir and Mustafa Muğlalı) are missing when you go Ottomans (^^ explained at top thread)
5. Secularism decision doesn't effect Loyalty or Power of "Kemalist Officers" modifier (I think it should)
6. Kurdish named Victory Points should be renamed to Turkish when under Turkey
7. Turan tooltip and cores are bit messy - I think they should be polished with my suggestions
8. Civil war tag of Turkey can't use Turkish focus tree
9. Dardanelles should include more fortification in both sides of strait
10. Minor Turkish name fixes + spy fix
11. Other minor fixes
a. Turkey should start with "Grand Battleplan" researched
b. Turkey should start with "Military Police" researched
c. Turkey should not start with tank researched. (no tech at all)
12. Update for Turkish high command/commander list

a. Rıfat Bele is nearly useless because he has same role with İzzettin Çalışlar, he should have "Army Logistics" (Expert) trait instead.
b. İsmet İnönü can be added as high command for Artillery (Specialist or Expert) because he was retired artillery commander, he graduated as #1 from Ottoman war school at artillery section.
c. Tahsin Yazıcı should be added even without portrait, he was one and only tank commander of Turkey for that time: (Commander not high command)
Tahsin Yazıcı - skill 1 - traits: Armor Officer, Panzer Leader
d. And for last this guy should be added to Ottomans as high command and commander maybe after next dlc
