Tulieo is built on the vanilla 'Islands' map after having 25 unlocked. Other than a road connection, the first thing I focused on was establishing an agricultural area and building the first power plant so they'll have power and food available when they move in.

I decided to go with hydro electric since there is a really good site on this map.

The agricultural area isn't anything spectacular at this point

After power and food I focused on building materials and established a forestry area.

This concludes the first installment of the story of Tuleio.

Finally, everything needed to build the city is in place. Now time to actually get started on the city. As the city grew so did its demand for resources. The agricultural area doubled in size quite quickly.

As did the forestry area which is now host to the first 2 Unique Factories. The Soft Paper Plant and Furniture Factory.

An ore mining area was established across the river from the oil extraction area on an island.

Zoomed out, Tuleio is definitely showing signs of growth.

Finally, it's time to connect with the world around the city. The airport complex provided services for both passenger and cargo, allowing the city to easily export finished goods as well as bring them and tourists in.

After a few years it became obvious that the airport was going to need to be heavily modified because of the high chance of activity on one runway delaying another. This was a simple enough fix.

Re positioning some facilities allowed for more fluid use and fewer opportunities for disruption.

Let's end this installment with a zoomed out view of the whole city before the renovations were done at the airport.

Finally, the fun stuff: economics. This is heavily dependent on how the different industrial areas work in tandem as well as managing both imports and exports to reduce traffic on the roads. Let's first look at the individual industrial areas' supply chain data.

As you can see, Pumping Zone 1 is not importing anything and is making a profit for the city.

The agricultural area is also meeting the city's demands as well making a profit

Hardrock Point is also fully functioning as well as turning a profit so it's doing what it's supposed to do.

While close to not being able to meet the demand, Produce Flats is still meeting the city's needs as well as bringing in a profit. Produce Flats is also home to 2 more Unique Factories; the Bakery and the Food Factory (can't remember the actual name).

The forestry area is meeting its demands as well as turning a small profit.

Now for the import data. The largest import for my city is mail that passes through the postal sorting facilities near the airport complex.

Exports are where the money is at. Unfortunately it also leads to a lot of traffic that has to be managed somehow. With this high of a number of exports, managing traffic is a major task that's going to take time, experience, and creativity.
