May I suggest you keep any comments against the NKVD for yourself in the future? It is unwise to insult an agency which controls pretty much the entire executive part of the judicial branch (whereas I am the legislative part of the judicial branch - not the correct terms, but I hope you know what I mean). But it is even more unwise to insult those who have the task to protect you. Weren't the greatest emperors of Rome overthrown by their own Pretorian Guard?

Initially I thought about asking to halt the current tech proposal process, however, since Comrade Yakushev proposes no techs which are relevant to this decision, it is fine to continue, with the process. Expect a detailed dossier of my department dedicated to that matter either by tonight, or by tomorrow night (GMT+1).

I am rather busy. Perhaps I may send a few experts to discuss the situation with you. As for your "giant" he could be of use out in the tundra clearing trees for the Trans-Siberian Railway. No point wasting his labor standing around.
He is not wasted labour, his loyalty has gotten him to become a vital member of the Ministry of Finance. However, I am sure that the NKVD can send some of it's men, seeing how large and widespread your ministry.
But let us cease this conversation. Such low minded bickering does nothing but support the enemy of the state by weakening the revolution and the power of the Workers.

I note that rather a large numberof units were called into Moskva for the May Day Parade ((shierholzer aggregated all units in Moskva for ease of use in the OOB reorg)) and I will try to work out new postings although this will be time consuming. I expect to have something on Comrade NK Rakobolskaja's desk over the weekend for final approval and then for submission to the Politburo early next week if not by Sunday.
I formally vote in favour of the technology plan of Comrade Yakushev.

You should not be too worried about your previous position, though. Comrade Teterev is a capable Chief of Personal Security (and a former friend of mine from my University days), and he has my full trust.
Also, Comrade Anastasia Ivanovna; my clerks are trying to contact your department, but are unable to do so. The post office alledgedly has too much stored mail for your department, so they cannot effectively transmit your letters. Would you mind sorting this out by clearing your mailbox personally? Either way, I guess we could sort out our departemental issues coming Friday night.
