Deutschmeister came later on... I think after the Teutonic Order moved to Margentheim the title was "Hoch and Deutschemeister". High master or Deutschmeister (german) master.. since after the fall of prussia most of the Order's possessions were in Germany... then after 1809 it was just Austria and tryol.

Deutschmeister was(is?) the title for the Landmeister of Germany (Germany in german is as you know Deutchland). So the "job instruction" should be much like the one for the othe r Landmeisters.
