Rinak,
i'm impressed with your war skills, although i'm lucky you don't care much for rivers for sure :D

as for the war, when your WE rise a bit more, OE will collapse bit by bit.
I think i take my chances and fight on. I do have positive warscore and i am on the offenisve in Siberia.

It's very frusterating to lack MP with Russia, they if any definetely need the numbers on their side if they are to be successful in a war. Especially against a stronger enemy.
It'll be tuff, not just for this war but for Russia in general.

Well, I was holding my armies back due to crappy monarch, I'm on the offensive again now, with more troops heading for siberia. Time to mint and conscript like crazy. Unless you want to settle things peacefully. Or the Turkish hordes will overwhelm you!

That and I was about to get a random leader in 1624 it looks like. I had none.

I'm putting my money on the OE winning this war, as Russia has no manpower left! Now that is impressive.....

And it'll cost him alot of WE to rise a army out of that MP though.

I think I'm doing very well considering most of my army was busy dealing with the provinces taken by rebels after my CTD when you attacked. Things would have gone very differently if I hadn't crashed. Was a bit low to attack so soon I think. Higher WE isn't much of a worry for me, I'll just raise extra armies to cover my territory, I have the manpower, and the cash. I'm willing to talk, since I bet you'll never stop attacking me while I have siberia, and that'll get tiring, since you can't win, but you can make it hard for me. You had the advantage early in this war since I had a high revolt risk due to the beys event. That's gone.

RE: locked land slider 5
I got more responses today. So far Tonio and BGW are against it. Wonko, Fredrick (but he says it depends on the game for him though), HoG and Valas like it. Daniel, Alistus and me are neutral. Also the poll I put up in the main thread is in favour of it. I guess we can't really call it an experiment anymore if so many campaigns have used it with success.

I also find the arguments in favour for it quite sound, but am concerned with the small naval countries without much manpower.

What's the difference? I found his arguments in favour of the locked 5 land slider quite sound...back then. And I told him to pollify it to see more reactions. At start of that poll, the vast majority was in favour of a land 5 slider, which also convinced me to implementing the rule (only later it became more divided 50/50 with better counter-arguments, mainly from BiB).

Now, I have more experience with it in this game and can make a better judgment myself. It's a great rule if you want a different game for France, OE, Sweden and Venice (and perhaps Spain) but it's not good for true naval powers and true land powers. The end effect is not something I like.

The land 5 rule works perfectly well in BF4.
I still argue that this scenario lack enough balance tweaking, it's definetely not much MP orianted. That's the main problem, and add a land 5 rule to that it will be far from balanced.

It is true, as I said before, the advantages of locked 5 are useless for BB or Poland (if it was still alive) they make troops far too expensive, and we still do not stand a chance against a naval power.

The old and original doge is back... or is it a new King of England we will see? That will be decided shortly by Master FAL...

Well if it is England I would like to formally request that the province of Erie be handed back to the Margrave of Brandenburg as it was unlawfully taken only a few years ago.

Is that really true? Did the King of England do something unlawful? I can hardly imagine that is true.

BTW, what have the Germans to do in America? Your lebensraum clearly lies to the East, as you have no fleet to protect your over-seas possessions.

In fact, if you have any more possessions over-there it is best if they speedily are handed over to us. We will only charge you a small fee for this service to your nation. Yes a service as your stab cost and tech cost will decrease while our will increase.
