They talked about it, if you convert when genghis khan is active there will be a huge mongol empire also spanning into the eastern parts of asia... and there will be sunset invasion goodies and there will be unique national ideas for some of the non existant nations like roman empire... so yes, some ck2 things will have an impact on the rest of the world

They said that countries that are off the map in CK2 will also be somewhat influenced by the conversion. No specifics tho.
