well like I said before you left from the game today, you shoulda tried playing... I've seen 56k modems run smoothly too, depends on the ISP and connection really.

I hope the hours will be much the same as the first Tsunami BTW. e.g. games starting 9 am Saturday GMT (or approx) - no midweek sessions as I will most likely not be able to make them.

I think it would be good if the game started a bit earlier, we'd get more american participants, say begin like 6-7am GMT? thats 7-8 british time and 8-9 CET

Technically speaking he is right, CET is always one hour behind GMT. CE summer time is two hours behind, and BST one hour, though. These matter seems to be completely impossible to dicuss without people mixing up terminology so the probability of this post beeing missunderstood by someone is close to 100%. British time is currently BST, not GMT, as Mulliman says. If I'm wrong then I've been arriving at work an hour late every day for the last few months. BST = GMT+1. CEST = GMT +2.
In the winter, Britain is on GMT, and most of Europe is on CET = GMT+1. I think that's pretty clear.
Given that we're talking about Saturday mornings, I wouldn't be at all happy about staggering out of bed in time for 7am, and 8am is pushing it. But then again, I'm not really a mornings person. I suppose it depends if Ben is, really.
EDIT: The problem is all the continentals referring to both European winter and summer time as CET, when I guess one should be CET and the other CEST.
