I play with CK2 v 2.4.5 and SVN 697

I have started a game with a Tsaesci matriach. She ruled for 200 years without problems, except for some occasional CTD.
She died when trying to become immortal, and that's when the game bugged : Her daughter (2nd child, but the first was a male) became the new ruler, but the succession laws became AGNATIC-COGNATIC primogeniture and her heir was now her first grandson. I changed that by restoring enatic with console command allow_laws. But it's strange that the succession removed the "no gender laws" for Tsaesci.

The Tsaesci are a vexing bunch. Not the least because they think they can absorb people's power by drinking their blood, but also because making a culture that properly uses enatic succession was something of an arduous task before the updates this year that allowed setting default laws based on certain conditions.

Or in other words we've recently gotten this problem fixed, and they correctly use enatic and ONLY enatic succession in all their counties. Or rather the Matriarchies do; theocracies and republics don't use the same mechanics.

OK, thanks for the reply

It was not a big problem, just wanted to let you know, in case you were not already aware of that.

And thanks for adding this race to the game. It gives another way to play your huge mod. :)
