So I'm noticing in a lot of battles that even when I'm rolling way better, the enemy morale decrease slows dramatically around the 10-15% mark, and the battle just lingers in almost a stalemate for longer than I'm used to before finally disengaging. A consequence of this is that wars of maneuver, i.e. wandering around to pick off your opponents before they group up, are harder to do, because the enemy has much more time to reinforce a battle, meaning those gambles are less worth it. I'm also noticing that some battles have much higher casualty rates as a result of this extension. So I guess I'm wondering why this circumstance where I appear to stop dealing morale damage happens, and whether there's a way to counter it? If the game is more about physically eliminating enemy troops now, it feels like enhancing the quality of your troops aren't quite as important.

Adding my +1 - In my latest game, I'm noticing that every battle kills off 70-90% if the infantry engaged on both sides - mid-late game combat is now really just a numbers game; everyone has about 120% discipline, decent pips, generals, bonuses etc., combat width being filled out doesn't seem to give the same advantages it used to - an enemy over the combat width just stays in contact longer grinding down your infantry. That 'reinforcements morale hit' seems to have fallen away in response to some other change.
