hello generals

Im making a custom scenario, where im trying to clean up all the minor countries
Not sure how it willgo but gain good modding experience

So i decided to addbelgium to greater france via event
I tried to use the ansschlus event to do this and made a duplicate with changed tags and id
copied n pasted the french event folder

The national province core xfer works
The annex fires and terr becomes french
But i cant seem to getunits and leaders to become french like the anschlus event works for germany
What am i missing?
Also the leader id numbers in event folder dont match the ids i can find for them
 
I figured out to add a “regular_id FRA” line in belgian starting units folder
Accomplished the tag change

I suppose i can just cut n paste all the generals into the french leader folder as well?
What doall those wake leader tags do in the event box (even nessesary?)
Is there an easyfix for tech teams here?
 
Also def strangeness on the nat cores

Even properly modded i lose a big chunk of resources prior to my annex event
I dont think germany has this with anschluss

What iam i missing?

Oh yea im pretty sure its updated
I still have all the “ai improvements” and gfx add ons in the folder
 
As far as I can guess from modding EU2 I would say that every techteam would need a unique ID number. Having the same ID´s both in the belgian and in the french techteam file could cause problems.

Np! I just deleted the original leader n tech folders for minor guys
Wont matter as myevent fires within days
France can now see the teams (wow what a head ache to get those sorted the way i wanted to see them in game!)
and generals right from start and gets the units and cores at annex
Ive been using the anschluss event as a base
Wonder if thats best?

Also i played a test game and italy gives up too easy
Want to have it so they must at least lose rome too b4 surrender

Can i just add rome to the african province ids?

Well, historically Italy turned sides after they lost Africa and Sicily and the Duce had only the tiny Republic in the north left, so demanding that Rome is occupied by the allies before Italy surrenders is quite a difference

Sure, for your own game mod like you want it. In my opinion having lost Africa and Sicily should be enough to have Italy falter.
