So I'm trying to add more portraits to dragons for my own game (I just really want lots of different dragons in my game). I'm using the Dragon Portrait mod, so all of the new portraits are variations of the same used in that mod.
I have already realised that I can't add more portraits to the dragons.dds file, so I have made 2 new ones with the hope of being able to have the extra traits link to those files rather than the first file.
I can't figure out how the game actually figures out that a certain dragon with the trait (dragon_1 for example) knows to pull from dragons.dds, and specifically to pull the correct portrait from the one image.
Ideally I'd like to be able to add onto however this happens, to make the new traits link to the correct place on the new files. If anyone can help with this, I would be very grateful!
