Well, have broken my arm so I've got lots of time to myself and play TRP 0.7
At the moment have got to around Dec 39, and am preparing for Weserubung.
Being one of those players who loves fiddling with economies the 0.7 mod is so much more challenging, and the AI at this point seems to have a more reasoned strategy, with lots of bombing raids over the Ruhr and my naval bases at Kiel, Rostock, Lubeck and Bremen.....Damn them!! :wacko:
One thing I've noticed about the air doctrines is that they come in blocks of threes, and if you choose one, it automatically deactivates one of the other remaining two. If I then choose the remaining doctrine, that deactivates a previously researched doctrine, does that tech 'line' of research become deactivated???
Does that make sense???
As the German player, is there anyway of activating Naval or Strategic bombing techs, can they be 'stolen' through intelligence, or are they permanently blocked off??
I know the AI is the same as 1.2, but it does seem to work better, and does'nt seem to do such daft things anymore.
