If there is update coming along sometime in future, should give Athens to Germany, at least if Germany is not AI controlled. For two reasons mostly, Occupation of Athens did kind of fall under them and also, if you take Crete via paradrop, you cant supply the province as Germany and you cant also move the troops out because of it (no transports, and airborne doesnt work if there is zero supply).

There will be an update on the Greece frontline. The problem of the german Harbour in greece is the possible multiplayer/singleplayer exploiting. German players could use Athen to place massive Uboat fleets in the Mediterranean sea - and there is no way to prevent those placments. At the moment i'm thing about adding a single TP for german players. So i have the "front" on my list but i havent finilized the event structure here.

Played a campaign with France

URSS didn't attack Germany, I was destroyed in 1944 cause lack of manpower (should have taken command of all South America, but wanted to try alone)

Nat. Spain allied Germany in summer 1941, with some divs and British help i invaded and annexed them. I can't liberate the Spanish State nor the Republic.

For Spain; I have checked the revolt.txt. Spain is part of the list so there shouldnt be any problem. U have a save game where i can check the provinces?
For the USSR; They wont attack because your french State is alive. The USSR wont attack (or to be fair - there is a very small chance for such a move)
as long as a human France exist because of balance, challenge and AI files (depending on the situation the AI hasnt loaded the correct files).
Keep in mind that there is no "AI" in HoI at all. It is a simple attack routine based on trigger conditions. Those scripts arent ideal at all. Small changes or interference (e.g. a lucky allied invasion in 1939/1940 against GER or any other crazy non-historical development) can already cause problems with the script loading.
For the moment we cant improve the AI here.

Is there a reason as to why the Kwantung Army is its own state? I personally am not a big fan of it.
Like @Blecky said: KWA is an AI state. It was implemented for TRP on Arma to handle the chinese front. We are using the same structure to help the JAP AI too. Unfortunately the "AI" scripts are so limited that it is the best solution. We would be happy for more "AI" improvement but i think the DH development has stopped so there is no chance for any real improvement here. For regular games we recommend to annex KWA with JAP for max potential.

I don't have that save anymore. That I saw, using "freedom" cheat, is that i could liberate Spain as paternal autocrat, and the Spanish Republic as left-wing radical, but none of them as democratic country.

I(s there a two-letter code that I can use in unit names for Large DDs? I know coastal submarines use NS. I'm trying to figure out a way to add large GGs and cruiser subs under their listings in unit names.

Just looked up a wikipedia article for US Navy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hull_classification_symbol:

Large destroyers could qualify as DL (Destroyer Leader)
Cruiser Submarines appear as SC

A number of nations are separated into the subtypes but we had never done it for any nation because of missing historical content. So many nations (e.g. small nations) are working with dummy names here.

But i'm not sure that i get your point :confused:

Did some stuff with unitnames. Moved GER coastal subs into that category. Added the Type XXI. Added Albemarle and Curtiss seaplane tenders to escort carriers. Added Mackerel and Marlin to US coastal subs (only 2 we built). Can somebody work with the HoI2 editor and figure how to add unit types such as Large Destroyers and cruiser submarines to unitnames? The creator is no longer around.
