We're looking forward to the upcoming holidays to implement several ideas into our development version, but we don't yet have a release date in mind for the next hotfix or even TRP 1.02.

hi is there a quick easy way for myself to edit it to enable it so the ai builds nuke plants and nukes? its my only 'gripe' with the excellent mod

anyone have trouble with the sovjets? i beat the french fairly easily and invade the SU by 1941 but i always get my ass handed to me a couple of months in. any suggestions? im playing germany in the 'final ver'.

@Narnyay: In theory, one just has to assure that an AI switch containing the build and research orders is active for long enough so that the reactors may be constructed. In practice, we already implemented several changes to both the event files and the switch files, but we still have to see whether they were sufficient. It isn't just one simple edit, though.

@Oorlog: As stated several pages ago, we accidentally exported the very same unit values from our spread sheet into both the AA- and SPAA-brigade-file. This error goes back to even the first 1.01-release. I don't think that correcting this issue is worth a whole hotfix, though. :)

@truggs: As a general advice, you should focus on destroying enemy forces instead of just conquering territory. And you should take advantage of any possible bonus that you can get a hand on, i.e. combined arms, offensive supply, adequate ministers and leaders, air support...

Thanks, i tried to look for it but could not find it. Did you guys have all unit and brigade files converted to spreadsheats? saves me the trouble of doing it myself if you would upload it? Makes comparing so much easier.

In this mod higher defensiveness and thoughness is better right?

ah ok so its not a matter of simply copying files or text from darkest hour full and moving them into trp, i could have just about managed that on my own lol

It's one single, very large spread sheet containing thousands of comments, cross-references and formulas for calculation and export...not very suitable for comparison, i'm afraid.

And yes, higher combat values are better than lower ones in TRP. We don't use the 'vulnerability' system.

played a bit as germany up to october '43 so far and it seems the ai (US and UK) dont seem to be building many carriers. the uk isnt building any and the US is but they are the '37 carriers. They both dont even resarch the '39 carrier tech however japan does and they are constructing the '40 versions of them and are nearly done researching the latest '43 carrier tech. not sure if thats much of an issue or not

final ver gives germany such a hard time beating the french... i know im attacking the maginot and all but losing hundreds of thousands in holding attacks is crazy(ww1 anyone)... even with the tank-mot-inf armies in the low countries i get bogged down by losses... the older ver was much more forgiving. thats just the french... once i get to 1941 and invading the sov...-_- anyone know where to dl the older vers?

@Narnyay: We're going to examine the research orders. Thx for the hint.

@truggs: We indeed pushed (!) the german doctrines and event/decision effects for 1.01 final especially because of stalemates and severe losses in France with 1.01 RC. Focusing on a combined arms - breakthrough in Belgium, victory should now be more easy to achieve against the AI. Whatever effect you might have observed: We didn't implement any new negative effect for this theatre but several positive ones.

Hi again. There seems to be an issue with the Franco pact event not firering.
First of all I think it should be a decission, it is not.

Anyway I got it to fire once accidentally (the AI got it, I was France) and I wanted to repeat it but saw that it was 99% inclined not to accept it. So I modded it to 99% chance of accepting and it still didn't fire. Then I went in as Germany and got all the supplies, rares, oil, etc that I needed in the time period specified and it still didn't fire.

What am I doing wrong? I can't figure out why the event won't fire.
I thought I'd get the file upload the file if you want to test it.
