[Troubleshooting][Demo] Please help this historyphile.

I have recently discovered the fact that u guys could download the demo. I did the same and the installation went smooth. Except for one thing. Something with the service-pack. It couldnt install it, because apparently i have a newer version. Me thinking thats no deal so i gonna start up the game. NOW SHIT HITS DA FAN.

Its loading everything, excpet when it gets to the history files/ creating flags part, it is going to crash. The ''typical CKII doenst work his lazy ass'' error. I am confused on what to do. I run it with compatiblily mode, i run it with administration right. I have no idea, what to do. I want to preorder dis game, but i need to know if it can work on my pc.

What exactly is coming up as the error message?
What OS are you using, and what service pack are you referring to?
Are your graphics drivers up to date?

What are your PCs specs?

I have:Windows 7 64-bit.
I7-860
Nvidia geforce GT320
and 4 RAM
I have no idea what servicepack is and yes my drivers are up to date.

Btw, i just get a CKII doesnt work error while he is loading. A typical CTD.

Try installing it in an unprotected folder. If it's crashing when it tries to create files, good odds it's the Windows UAC acting up. Running as administrator doesn't always solve that problem unless you've made sure the folder rights are set up properly.

Can you explain to me how to install in a unprotected folder, i think i turner UAC a long time ago down.

Just choose a different install folder than program files.

Someone who had a similar problem when installing AHD reported that it worked if they turned off their anti-virus while installing.

Hmm, nothing i worked. I tried:

Turning of anti-virus while downloading,
Turning of UAC,
Always running on administrator,
I always download in another map than program files.

The only thing i can think of is the situation with the microsoft c+++ thingie. He cant install that part, because it says i have a newer version. Isnt there anyone in here who can help me

GUYS, I present ot you the solution. I deleted everything in the gfx/flags folder. Somehow that worked. I hope this will help other dudes

Edit: i can play the game just finely, withoolut the big flags :s. Strangely i can see the flags of cities and baronies , but not of the big players, count+. I gonna preorder and hope that release doesnt have these issues
