Trouble trouble...

Got a bit of a trouble I sure could use som help with...I`ve successfully installed the game on my last computer ( a much older one), but now, when i try to get it installed on my new one I keep getting this error message: "An error accured during setup 0*80040801".

What can I do to fix it?

That would be an install shield error. IS that the exact message you get?

That is the exact message, yes.

I`m using windows 98...But thats should be okay, shouldn`t it?

That should be : 0x80040801...Just a little fault there, but maybe it could be important.

What publisher version of the game do you have?

No the publishers name. It will be on the CD, Paradox does not write the install program the publisher does, that is why I need to know.

The only thing I can find "on" the cd is:

"Copyright ( c ) and ( s ) 2001 Paradox Entertainment AB. All right reserved. Used under licence by Vision Park. Published and distibuted exclusively in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland by Vision Park. Printed in the E.C."

Okay the publisher is Vision Park.

If you read the self help thread there is a post about patch problems with the scandinavian version. THis can also apply to the original install, I would give you the direct link but the server is very very slow right now and it would take me forever.
Basically there is a new setup file you can Download.

Yeah, that should all be well and good...Except for that the link posted in the forum doesn`t work!

Hmm, that one might be tricky to find until the Pdox webserver comes back up.
