I have had this problem now a couple of times I move troops to prepare for war, then after i start the war the ships haven't moved yet the troops are back where I moved them from. This has cost me ships and wars. Restart kind of loss when you declare war and have no troops then your ships die trying to get troops there. Also the stupid comets need turned down MAJORLY! 1 every now and then is ok but come on 2 to 3 a month at times?

Can you be more specific?

Are you trying to embark units? Certain "events" have a 1 day cool down before embarking can happen.

Also, if you are moving land units through a water area with your ships in it, if those ships get attacked then the land units can no longer move through the water.

If you can be more specific about what you are trying to do (possibly including a screen shot), it will be easier to tell you what the issue may be.

Embarking cancels the auto hunt rebels (which it didn't use to).

I think this is correct when you do it the EU3 way, that is you first move your ship to sea, and then right click it to have your troops move into it.

However in EU4 it is much neater (as long as you are in friendly territory) to keep your ships in harbour, press the "attach to fleet" button or whatever it might be called, and then just sail away with them onboard (saves you valuable time too). And when you do THAT the "hunt rebells mode" is NOT cleared and as soon as the ships reach the first sea zone, they will stop there and the troops disembark. Even if there are no rebels to hunt atm.
