And I'm sure Bestmajor himself has an all similar story to tell.

Let me give you just some examples of why I care so much about detailed illustrations for icons, Epa.
Well, hm, that's exactly what I did actually. Will try another approach. Thanx for giving attention to young Jedi.As for the problem you've run into:
No problem, but now I'm curious to know what's happening. I know the program is capable of doing that since I use it myself - so there must be some "wrong move" you make somewhere during your operation.Well, hm, that's exactly what I did actually. Yes I did so. That's for sure. I redid everything just to be on the save side. After you've copied and pasted the various chunks from one file to the other, have you saved it, exited and reloaded the file, before cancelling the writings you didn't want?
You know, it's hard to tell what you did wrong without actually seeing you in action. Maybe I could make a sort of "Let's mod" (instead of "Let's play"Yes I did so. That's for sure. I redid everything just to be on the save side.
What you got me thinking though is that maybe I should have copied the letters from the original vanilla file and not from the copy of the file I'm working on. The file that I worked on is OK, I had it in game and it works so I thought there should be no issues. I only needed to move the CVL letters more to the left (one pixel away from the flag area) and this is where things go nasty regardless of me following your suggestions to the letter.
Maybe having too many black-grey pixels next to the flag area causes problems?
Anyway, I've attached the version where the letters should have been but which causes issues and the one whre I haven't moved the CVL letters yet and everything works.
As always it's probably just one of those stupid mistakes/oversights I usually do in such circumstances.
Hell yeah, that would be awesome! Not just this but modding icons in general. You would probably ahve many subscribers.Maybe I could make a sort of "Let's mod" (instead of "Let's play" ) to show what's the correct procedure .
Well, it's just 3 kb bigger but good spot - I don't have a slightest clue why it becomes bigger by simply moving those letters a bit to the left. I'm leaving Slovenia tomorrow so I won't come to the conclusion of this mystery just yet. :happy:Why is the second counterstrip (the one that, not surprisingly, has issues) three times bigger than the other one?

Ah, yeah, it would be awesome but it won't happenHell yeah, that would be awesome! Not just this but modding icons in general. You would probably ahve many subscribers.
Sure it won't but it's still nice to dream.but it won't happen
Thank you!great! is it also compatible with latest 1.08 beta patch?
Well, I can't speak on behalf of bestmajor, of course, but these images are of little to no use to me, as I do not make division or brigade pictures (which is the only way they could be employed).Probably won't be of any use for either of you two artists since it's in black&white but nevertheless here it goes
