So tributaries give their Overlord Minerals and Energy. While I like the idea of having These weaklings as resource pool and mining Worlds to fuel my forges and the Suppression machine, there is a lack of influence over them (e.g. force them to have strong mining Worlds instead of manufacturing complexes).

How About them giving him (=me) also alloys or consumer goods, or make the Tribute even adjustable (on a 10-year Basis)?

Generally, it'd be nice if we had more say in how we exploit our subject states, and how much. Hopefully, we'll see something to that effect in the future diplomacy overhaul.

I think those are perfect suggestions for the big diplomacy update coming in Fall 2019.
I feared as much, but was hoping to Sneak it into balance changes :D. After all, just to make the Point, the Deep rework of the economy indeed has an Impact on many Areas, of which this particular seems to have been forgotten (or intentionally discarded).

We all wish for a better diplomacy, but it'll have to wait. I just hope that Wiz stepping down won't have a negative impact on this 'promised' update. :)
