In my Japan game every time I load my troops into transports and try amphibious assaults the transports briefly do the mission and then just return back to their base. In other words they never complete the mission and the troops never land. This has happened to me various times, mostly in Australia and the British islands next to it. Can someone please clarify what I am doing wrong?:confused:

Let the mission last longer, normally its just one month, change this to infinte.
Change the retreat by str and org factor to 1 or 2 % down.
Let them operate day and night.

From the way he posted his issue, my guess is number 2 (STR/ORG). While I have run into the first (usually after I have already done one and it uses the old values for the new mission. Day/Night only affects when the mission starts, once it has begun the mission will not be called off just because of nightfall.
