Transport ships

Playing as the USA I've seen Canada building ~60 transport ships, and the UK ~80. Playing as Germany I've seen the USA amassing more than 100 transport ships.

I'm playing 1.02 unmodded. Is this a WAD or a bug?

Not sure, but probably wanted. The AI can do better naval invasions when it has a lot of transports at its disposal.

AFAIK it is WAD

Maybe you should give the AI a discount on transport ships then. It's a lot of "wasted" IC.
