So as the ERE, I'm reorganising my empire under a bunch of vassal Despots, but I'm not a fan of some of the de jure Kingdoms, so I'm trying to redraw their borders in-game. I've created the Kingdom of Anatolia, and am trying to transfer the duchies of Cibyrrhaeot and Samos to the Despot of Anatolia, but the only duchy level titles that show up are Thracesia and the Varangian Guard. All of my direct baronies and counties are available, but none of the duchies. Both duchies are direct vassals of me, and I hold the Kingdom of Greece, so could this be the problem, or can you only transfer de jure duchies to Kingdoms?

yes you only can transpher de jure duchies to king lvl vassals. BUT since you are the ERE you could just revoke the duchies and give them to the desposts that will achieve the same thing and the former dukes who hate you dont matter cuz they are no longer direct vassals.

Yeah, I'm trying to keep my despots individually weak, with only one county and no duchies to call their own. Is there a cheat I can use to transfer my vassal dukes to my despots?

It dosn't really make a significant diffrence wether the despot is also a Dux with the associated count vassals or if he have the Dux as a vassal.

But doesn't that just give the despot the title? Or can I do that twice, once to give the despot the title, and then to give it to one of the counts within the de jure duchy, while keeping him as a vassal of the despot?
