Transfering of Crowns in personal unions

In EU4, you should be able to transfer your crown from a country to a country in a personal union, maybe sacrificing legitimacy and your national ideas. For example, if you win the hundred years war as England, you should be able to transfer the crown to France if you have a relation of 100. Tell me if this is a good idea or not.

There are a gazillion threads where I pointed out this type of issue regarding the Union of the Crowns between England and Scotland. This should really be a option, as long as the your country is not overwhelmingly more powerful than the one you would move to.
