Transfer GOG saves to Steam?

Does anyone know how or even if I can transfer my GOG Battletech game saves over to a Steam version of the game?

A friend gave me a Steam key for Battletech that included the DLC season pass. But I'm already many hours into my GOG campaign. I really don't want to start over, but I also don't really want to play without the expansion since I kinda already have it.
