In my mughals game, the Ottomans without having a single province in the Persian trade Node (Inland so no boats) and without even a merchant get 53.5 trade power modified to more than 60 (they also have 1.20 form Ak K which is their protectorate), without doing anything they have more trade power, than me when I have all the provinces but 3 (with a penalty from collecting out of capital and 30% overextension).
Well the problem is not that I'm not very efficient with my merchant here, it's the insane trade power they get without a merchant while other countries who send one only get between 1 and 2 power.
the tooltip say it's because they have merchant upstream (they are just normally collecting in constantinople). I'd like to know why and how they are able to get all that trade power.
