I have a tram line running over one of the bridges in between the two main centre islands, and they always seem to get stuck coming off the bridge. It seems to take the traffic light an awfully long time to switch to green, and when it does, only ONE tram goes through the intersection. This results in a lineup of trams stuck going across the bridge, and creates a HUGE delay on my line. Any idea how to fix this?

I've found traffic lights the main reason for most jams. I try to find a solution by using staggered turns/exits off main roads to avoid intersections with traffic lights. Hope that helps.

The other thing you can do is build a bypass road, a one way bus lane, and use way points to direct the trams via the detour (you may have to knock down a few buildings to squeeze your road in, but cost of doing business)
