I am on the Amsterdam campaign, and the task I have is to build a tram line from the Warehouse, to the palace. The only problem is that the Warehouse is not connected by land to the main city. How does one build a tram line to The Warehouse?
If I remember, I am in year 1957. I did check underground view, there aren't any roads underground. What i did try was to set up a tram to a waterboat on each end, but it didn't complete the task. So either I have to wait until a tunnel is built, or this task can't be done. At least that is what I'm thinking now.
You will not be able to complete this task until a tunnel will be built.
What version do you have? I think that in one of the patches the problem of impossible tasks was fixed.
I am using the latest patch, 1.0.19. Does anyone know when the tunnel gets built? It does seem strange though that I would be tasked with something that can't be completed when given the task. But in some ways, I guess that's like real life. My wife does that to me a lot!
Don't know. I am doing the campaign. The strange thing is, i went back to an earlier save, and the task changed so that I had to connect the Palace with a house instead that was reachable. So it looks like the objectives are dynamic.
