Fairly obvious that solitary and communal will probably be unavailable since hive minds don't use happiness but I am curious what other traits. I would also guess repulsive and charismatic will be prohibited.

Charismatic + Repugnant: They do still have effect on Diplomacy. So they might still apply.

Communal + Solitary: Definitely out.

Conformist and Deviants: Defintely out.

Decadent might be out. Depends if the hivemind can use slavery or not. They propably can not, as they work like T2 Robots in that regard.

From the advanced Traits, Nerve Stapeled is out. But that should be about it.
Habitability, Leader Traits, Amry strenght, Resoruce output - everything makes as much sense for the Hivemind as it does for other species.

Adatpable/Non-Adaptable will be a strange one, since probably the only thing Hive Mind will care for is having 40%+ to colonize there. It'd be far more powerful trait choice than for a regular start. It might be OP/crippling - Hive Mind species with Very Adaptable will be the best Hive Mind species by far, and Non-Adaptable would be the worst.

Or it might be unavailable, in the event that they can colonize anywhere from the get-go, the trait would be pointless, as they have no Happiness anyways.

Also that new trait category, that affects Consumer Goods usage might not be available either.

You should not understimate the effect on growth. +60% growth time for every pop is a serious penalty.

It is true that the lack of happiness makes habitability less of an issue. But the planets will still be far from ideal and will be quite problematic until you got the tech to adapt them.

We also know that they can not use Robots. So they can not use droids for those colonsiation efforts.
