Really nice to see this finally being published.

I will test this with a new city tonight, as my older cities are incompatible due to the traffic++-mod. Would really be nice, to see compatibility here later.

The description of this mod says, traffic manager should be incompatible with IPT (Improved Public Transport), on the other side wrote the author of IPT, that he could not find any incompatiblities.
It works with traffic++ in ghost mode.

He means that with the other mod you can enable and disable destinations.

Use case:
5 ways intersection (imagine south, east, west, north-east and north-west branches). User wants to stop the flow from south to west. With the UI as it is now he can't, because the lane arrow would point to the left for both the west branch and the north-west branch. With the other mod all the branches are colored and the user can click on them to allow/deny traffic. But lanes are assigned automatically.

Realistically speaking, I don't know how you can handle that in real life. How can you tell cars to go left, but not THAT left, except with one-ways and this sign: http://i.imgur.com/jCE4cSH.png
It is possible code-wise, but I personally would be more comfortable with a different road design, than making invisible walls.

I agree with this. Most of the time when you have more then 4 road or three directions to chose from the road is build as a roundabout or two separated intersections.

I saw the code and must admit that it would be a big change. You're right about road design; then the best way is to let the user know which branches are left, forward and right, maybe adding some marks near them. But if "left" does not comprehend all the possible lefts, I don't know what can be done to reduce user errors.

Actually, there's quite a few 5- or even 6-way intersections where i live. Granted, most of them are being replaced by roundabouts, but especially in old city centers you can still find some.
Also the Americans really seem to like their single point urban interchanges, which are also 6-way.

Floor signaling helps a lot in finding the right way easily. Like this:
http://www.gea.de/fastmedia/38/thumbnails/stadt_aok_knoten_rotlicht.jpg.21261539.jpg

If the intersection is really complex, there will be a traffic sign with a diagram of the intersection, so you know exactly where to go.

It's not that hard actually, you can start with simple 4-way junction, using simple traffic lights (one light per road).

1. Select timed traffic lights.
2. Select the desired junction (select only one for a first-timer)
3. Click next.
4. Click Add State
5. Set the desired lights on the junction (don't click 'mode', as you want to use the simplest light for a first-timer); Example: set 2 roads facing each other - green; and the other 2 - red
6. Set the desired amount of seconds you want the lights to be with the slider (for example: 12)
7. Click 'Add'
8. Click 'Add state'
9. Set the desired lights on the junction (again, don't click 'mode' - you want simple traffic lights); Example: reverse the lights - the ones that are red - make them green, and the ones that are green - make them red.
10. Set the desired amount of seconds you want the lights to be with the slider (for example: 8)
11. Click 'Add'
12. Click 'Start'
13. Now you have a junction that has a 4-way with one of the roads having 12 'seconds' of green time (it's not exactly seconds, but it's an easier naming) and the other having 8 'seconds' of green time

If you follow these steps and watch the video in the workshop page, you'll get an idea of how to do more complex junctions.

Sounds easy enough, but Half the time, the next box don't appear. When it does show up, I hit next and that box gone, I think it gets hidden behind the menu. First I thought it was cause I was running multi-monitors, but when I go to 1 screen seems to still happen.

Amazing mod!
A question:
you a have taken into account the priority of car pass in a junction without traffic lights into mod's programming?
in other words:
arrive a car in the direction west - east; and arrive a car in the direction south - north
in the cros road; ¿ which car have a priority pass?

From the mod's description:

Same road priority (base - not configurable)
- All cars that are on a same priority level (diamond - diamond, yield - stop - yield - stop), manual traffic lights, timed traffic lights or on modified lanes start to follow the rules for Priority on the right and wait for left turn(wait for right turn in LHD)

IMPORTANT
All roads that have priority signs, enabled manual traffic lights, timed traffic lights or changed lanes automatically start running under an additional layer - Traffic Manager's simulation. Everything else runs under game's simulation
Which means that cars start following the assigned lanes and same road priority. The base game sometimes assigns lanes that are not correct, which will cause traffic to not go through that intersection. You'll have to manually fix the lanes to the proper ones, so the traffic can start functioning again

I will have to get back to you on that, as didn't know there was an update. New something Downloaded, but it don't tell you what, and did not mess with it yesterday, as was running tests on my models I was updating. I did see though that none of the intersections saved, as everything reverted. I thought was do to running tests on different map, but might be cause of update.

Will try and do full testing tonight.
P.S. can we get a movable button and menu, that remembers placement. Rather pain looking at it on far left screen, specially when adjusting lanes, have to stop and think of direction to way im facing from one screen to another :)

You'll have to manually fix the lanes to the proper ones, so the traffic can start functioning again" means? I can't imagine what is meant.
By the way I am very happy with the mod, until now everything is fine.
I just had one crash after I wanted to remove a timed traffic light.

It seems to remember changes per-map now, all though only did a few minor changes and looked.

As for the other problem though you can see in pic's, also select nodes and other sub menu's now located in this potion then under main menu.
1- selected Timed Traffic lights
2- Road selected, and next button there and selecting.
3- no sub-menu any longer, and have lights in roadway, can not do anything with these in any combination of keys and/or mouse clicks.
4- tried any of the above 3 options, manual, signs or switch lights all get "Node is part of timed script" only way to change this is to delete road or file in the directory.
5- I can a just lanes though add/remove crosswalks and such other buttons.
