Hey,

With the new street names it would be possible to give traffic jam reports via radio.
A couple times a day the radio provides the traffic situation, where traffic jams are, maybe roadworks or wet streets.
Maybe on top big traffic jams are written down in the chirper so you can click on them and you get to the traffic jam directly.

What do you think of this idea?
Thanks for your feedback :)

"Street working today at frulablorawotatey street. :p Waiting time about half a day. Alternative routes recommended."
Good point, maybe integrate existing pronounciation databases (google? Oxford/Duden(in Germany))

firstly it's unrealistic, there would need to be thousands of voice recordings for every name in the game (and these would need to be recorded for every language that the game supports), secondly, it will not be able to say the name of any road that you have name yourself, thirdly and probably most importantly it would be a complete waste of time. as an example, if the game tells you that there is bad traffic on Cedar Road, how is that even remotely useful to you? do you know where in your city Cedar Road is? or course you don't, so to find where Cedar Road is you will need to turn on the traffic layer which is already in the game or you would look for where traffic is bad by the number of cars not moving. something you should be doing anyway. i fail to see the point of adding extra demands on the game. finally, if you're very bad at traffic management you would get alerts for multiple different roads with terrible traffic every few seconds making it both impossible to manage and irritating to deal with, particularly if you have a very large city.

I think you did not read the whole thread.
You can implement it by using available pronounciation databases of google, duden, oxford, etc if available.
"Maybe on top big traffic jams are written down in the chirper so you can click on them and you get to the traffic jam directly."
Why add it to the game?
Because it makes radio and city more realistic.
