This is something that bothered me in the CiM games - the draw distance for traffic on the streets. I only really noticed it on a playthrough on CiM2 a few months back and from that point on, it really broke immersion for me, as it would show empty streets from a reasonable height (not fully zoomed out) until I got really close to the ground, then display the traffic. It was even worse on busy roads/motorways as I'd have traffic backing up in the near view, but as you looked further away, the traffic just vanished into thin air until you moved closer.
Now, my question is this - how far out is traffic (and other animations) represented on Cities Skylines? Bear in mind my PC is more than capable of handling this game and while I won't get me e-wang out to parade in front of everybody, it's the kind of machine that can play FarCry4 on Ultra with no slow down, so this isn't really a PC problem I am having, but one with the game itself, unless I am missing an obvious option in the game (although I have set it all to max)
