Don't know if it has been asked or mentioned before, but is this game going to have a realistic amount of cars in it? Sim City (2013) has a ridiculous amount of cars compared to the number of cititzens. A 20K city would have more traffic issues with cars than a 200K city in that game. Completely unrealistic. Hoping for something better here.

As far as I am aware the # of cars is relative to how many citizens you have, import/export business (so external stuff) and tourism. If a car goes somewhere it has a purpose, pretty much, and thus a driver.

Hope the traffic actually has there own sounds associated with it, like in CiM 1. And too many cars waiting in traffic too long will start getting impatient and use there horns. Unlike in CiM 2 where it was just a ambient sound looped. Makes the cities more alive.

I should hope some of the issues in CIM2 are fixed; particularly, the troublesome lane behaviour, the unsatisfactory merging on motorways. Traffic in CIM2 will most often change into the appropriate lane when it gets into the next segment before the junction it intends to use, causing serious jams to occur between and at junctions, because furthermore, merging traffic does not mingle into the traffic on the road, even if it is light, but require a stop as if at a red light... causing some obnoxious traffic issues. I hope this would be fixed... Traffic should behave more on the fly on a motorway.
