In the never ending discussions on how to get and maintain army and navy tradition, I have an idea:
As we know, losing battles tends to give you more tradition than winning them. I propose that losing wars does the same thing. My basic idea is that it scales to the ultimate warscore, so that a devastating loss gives you more tradition than a minor one.
From a realism perspective, this would simulate the tendency of losing countries to seriously reevaluate their military in the face of their loss. Though it is well outside of the time period, the classic example is interwar Germany.
From a gameplay perspective, it would help out that beleaguered nation that just got demolished and now has half of Europe eyeing it up and down.
