The entire Iberian peninsula is under my realm and has been at peace for more than 10 years. Nearly 20 years without a significant war. However, the Iberian trade post modifier icons are still red, not green. they do not seem to be growing in size of effect like other icons.

What would cause this?

How can I fix this in game or modifying files?

Thanks for your help.

I'm not entirely certain, but as far as I know, the icon is just that. It doesn't mean the trade route is poor or affected by any negatives. Furthermore, trade routes don't grow dynamically for the most part. Still, we'll take care of this in the rewrite eventually, so thanks for letting us know about it!

Thank you for the reply.

I understand about the colors not meaning anything.

I thought they went red when a war disrupted the trade route and reduced its value, but perhaps that was in vanilla.

Over the 50 years of my current game, the size of the percentage modifiers has definitely increased. I always assumed that is was related to how developed the provinces on the route were.

Is that not correct?

I don't think the colour ever changes in vanilla, though I could be wrong. Some aspects of trade routes do indeed change, as a result of various buildings built in trade posts on the trade route. What doesn't change is the percentage income bonus to various holdings in provinces on the trade route, among other things.

Thanks. This is good to know.
