My list might be too long though i think trade & production really needs at least be enhanced by new goods. If some of them will be added it would be great.

Tropical wood could be divided to:
ebony
sandalwood
brazilwood

Aside from umbrella term Spices, East really needs new goods:
cloves
nutmeg
cinnamon
ginger

Africa needs more love
palm oil
kola nut
millet

Dyes are nice but specific trade goods would be nice as well:
indigo
carmine

To not see everywhere Grain would be good to add different goods:
rice
corn
maize

Wine is fine but we need more
beer
coca
opium

Metals:
silver
lead
tin

Some another goods:
amber
hemp
olive
wax
honey
cattle
horses
sulfur
coal
gems

Manufactured goods:
ammunition
cannons
carpets
furniture
glassware

That would be great, but I'd prefer if it'd go with more broad overhaul, meaning the ability to change the trade good in province. For a certain sum of cash and MP You should be able to shift TG in a province (especially for manufactured goods). It's not unlikely and without precedense that a large investment made a province shift it's production (with one being in game, the saxon porcelain).
Of course there must be restriction, so there won't be dozen new gold provinces or every province producing valuable TG (BRING BACK THE SUPPLY/DEMAND SYSTEM!).

for manufactured goods i was thinking about sth like that:
cannons would require to own at least 3 iron provinces and 1 coal and if condition is met 1 iron province would switch to produce cannons
same would be for ammunition, probably 3 lead and 1 sulfur, carpets 3 provinces of wool, furniture 3xbrazilwood or ebony

what is the point of adding 40 new trade goods? burning of CPU? :p

To make game more interesting and to see point of colonizing and trade which is main theme of game. Seeing everywhere grain fish and naval supplies is plainly disgusting. When i colonize spice islands i want see nutmeg, cloves cinnamon not fish tropical wood and naval supplies and maybe 1 or 2 umbrella term spice.

Honestly now that clunky supply and demand is removed from the game, there really isn't much limit to tradegoods beyond the effort of making the little icons. I would love to see more variety of trade goods

I would love to see different trade goods within a province. Say that a russian province can produce 0.33 units of fur, 0.2 of grain and 0.1 of iron.

Without that functionality, i'd have a hard time to justify putting in a lot of extra trade goods. It would just be silly to see an OPM produce nothing but apples, for instance. And his neighbor produces only hemp. And his neighbor only wax, or what have you.

I fail to see how anything beside splitting up grain would add anything but flavour, and as far as flavour is concerned, I'd prefer culture-specific GUI, but more tradegoods is mostly harmless, so whatever.

I think tradegoods are ok and only needs a few rework:

Gold/silver will be nice be a unique tradegood, call it precious metals can be ok.

A new tradegood can be interestig is opium.

Manufactures goods that give bonus to you can be interesting

For example can manufacture beer from "grain" (cereals) and you get a bonus of -5% stability cost.
