Ive been playing eu4 a lot. I loved the entire trade value system with demand and supply sooo mcuh, watching the prices fluctuating every day, changing alterantively than history because of action that a nation took.. and now what? A good will get 1-2 flat 25% or 50% modifiers to its price? Thats it? Really? Just a quick complaint about how much i dont like the 'simplified' feautre. I know, i nkow.. its maknig the game run faster etc. but meh i cant run faster than 3, no difference for me.

The new system is somewhat lackluster at the moment, with the prices being rather static. But new events can be added in the future.

In theory, the previous system based on supply and demand was very justified. However, because the demand/supply formulas included many more or less arbitrary constants, it really did not reflect true demand and supply. Consequently the prices did follow some logic, but most time were not changing much or unexpectedly. The one notable exception was the price of slaves, which was always logical.

Using 1.7 couple of months ago, I saved some prices to Excel to view the price fluctuations more closely. Going to do same thing with AoW sooner or later...
