My bonus merchants for trade companies are not appearing. I should have 3. Ivory Coast, Indonesia and Moluccas but even though the subject interface has them lit up and says I am receiving them, I didn't receive them. I receive the merchants from Expansion Idea 2, Portuguese Idea 4 and Brazil reaching large colony. Is there a console command that can help? Or is this a known bug after the new patch? Any information would be appreciated.

are you having trade power from provinces or from trade ships?
TRADE COMPANY must have %50 of trade power ... so anyting other than provinces will actually prevent you from having merchant
lets say there is total 300 trade power in node
100 from trade company, 100 another from your light ships and 100 from another nation
althought you have 200 your trade company is only at %33 so it wont bring you extra merchant althought if you didnt have trade ships you had merchant
note: not sure if game checks light ships but I am sure what important thing is provincal trade power not total

close the game and try running it again maybe restarting will make game notice you should get bonus merchant.
tried the restart. it didn't work. they reappeared at the start of the year in jan feb transfer than disappeared in march
what kinda % does the tooltip says when you hover over the merchant icon? I guess you just barely pass the 50%, but due rounding problems it becomes below.
ok 1 last advice(going to sleep XD)
try to remove entire trade company and set them as trade company back (it will reduce land production a lot... might want to take a back up save in case if not work again
